I quilted this quilt for my mom back in November. Because of how the quilting turned out, it is one of my all-time favorite quilts. Both the fabric and quilt are by
Fig Tree Quilts. The fabric,
Fig and Plum by
Moda, has the slightest sheen to it which is just beautiful. The sheen really adds to the quilting, or visa versa. The pattern,
Jelly Stars, calls for jelly rolls. My mom has a tendency to give quilts away, but I am begging her to keep this one. I might need it for my portfolio.
