Japanese Coin Purse

I've always wanted to make a coin purse but I'm kind of afraid of those clasp frame thingies. Have you ever used one? This tutorial via The Purl Bee is so cute! Maybe I'll try it with all the spare time I have. ;)

Eco Snack Bags

Aubrey came over for craft day last week. We had tons of fun making these uber practical reusable snack bags. Aren't they cute? We used this tutorial as a guide. Our pouches are lined with clear vinyl and plush batting. I plan to make loads more! Make your own or buy some from my shop in the near future.

Diaper Cover

Did you see this awe-some diaper cover tutorial over at made? My baby is a boy so it doesn't work as well, but if I had a girl (I feel like they're girly), I'd be whipping up a whole bundle of these. Maybe my hubby won't mind seeing some of these cuties on his boy. Maybe he will though.

Did you see How About Orange today? I'm dying to try her tape pillow! I'm definitely adding it to my LONG list of things I want to make. Have you ever used fabric paint? I'm clueless.

Yes, I'm absolutely ignoring the fact that we haven't posted for almost a month. My baby is crawling everywhere. I'm freaking out! Want more excuses?

Make this!

Tissue boxes are generally quite ugly, which is why I wrote a tissue box cover tutorial a while back. But look at this one! It's way cuter than mine. I'm not even going to link you to my old tutorial. Go. Make this.

Speaking of Ruffles

Spent a lot of time posting my goods to my etsy shop over the past few days. I'm cooking up some purse and wallet ideas that incorporate ruffles. And speaking of ruffles, did you see the ruffle round-up posted over at How About Orange? Hop over there and check out the fun tutorials!

love this pillow

My mom sent me the link to this awesome smocked pillow tutorial. I'm kinda into smocking lately. Remember this post? Anyway, check out this gorgeous pillow! I told my husband I wanted to make it but that he wouldn't be allowed to lay on it. His response was, "What's the point in having a pillow if you cant lay on it?" Silly man.

Valentine Bags

Image via Twig and Thistle

I found the link to these printable Valentine bags at How About Orange. Ever since I have been wondering where in the heck do I get those paper bags? Pretty sure nowhere in my little town sells them. So I got to thinking...I could print them on fabric, using the freezer paper technique, and make my own drawstring bags. Maybe next year...

Felt Slippers

Remember when I posted a link to these cute felt slippers? I might not have gotten around to trying them out if it weren't for my friend who asked for some help making them. Can't deny that I'm extremely pleased with the outcome! Tutorial here.

Felt Slippers

There are times in life where I feel like there is so much going on and I'm so exhausted that all I want to do is stop everything and take a nap, read a book, or watch a movie. I was feeling like that today and then I happened upon this awesome tutorial for felt slippers. All I can think about is dropping everything and making a pair ... or two... or three.

Pot Holders...I never thought

Check out this awesome idea to make a quiet book out of pot holders! Hold up, she has a million (not really) other ides of what to do with pot holders on her site. Check it out. The quiet book is Christmas themed but I know there are plenty of smarty-pants crafters out there that could come up with non-holiday page ideas.
