One of my very best customers recently sent me these two X quilts. The top on is a mini version of the bottom one. I quilted the large one first, and wasn't in love with the straight lines, so I opted for a spiral design on the small one.

In the end, I loved the straight lines the best. And I was lucky enough to capture a photo of it in perfect lighting conditions for quilting. That rarely happens.
Now I want to make one of these for myself, which is not likely to ever happen.
