Veterans Quilt

I quilted this for my good friend Kelly a few weeks ago. She pieced it along with her mom, Marie Cole, and they will be donating it to the local veteran's hospital. I believe quilting had it's roots with the intent to help others, so I am always happy to get the opportunity to work on a charity project.

I quilted this with an all over free hand spiral design. It is a classic, and one of my favorites. I discovered a while back, that gold thread is the way to go when doing a red white and blue themed quilt. I used it again on this quilt, and really love it.
