Results of the Storm

I don't know that I made it clear in my last post, but I am a machine quilter. I will be posting my maching quilting here at The Village Shop Blog from now on. Like I said, I have been soooo busy lately, so this post will be a little lengthy. If anyone wants info on a quilt that I didn't give, email us and I will see what I can find out for you.

More results of my quilting storm are as follows:

My mom was the piecer on this sweet baby quilt. She said it has about ten hours of work in it, not including the cutting. It was a delight to quilt. The piano key border has a floral vine quilted on it which isn't too visible in this shot, but the rest of it I kept more basic and traditional.

Another sweet baby quilt, this one with cherries. Cherries are so happy. The pattern actually called for small circles to be appliqued, but the quilter chose yo-yo's instead. Great choice don't you think?

My sister pieced this one. It is a Fresh Cut pattern, and the fabric is Bandana Beauties from Benartex.

One of my bestest clients made two of these quilts. I believe they are for granddaughters beds. They quilted up so beautifully.

The quilting that you have done is absolutely beautiful! Do you have a long arm machine? I am so impressed and inspired.
