Every now and then, I get to make something from start to finish, but I rarely keep it. This quilt was just given to my friend and her sweet baby boy.
I used a pattern from
Fig Tree called
Cameos. It looks simple enough, but those angles we pretty trick to get just right. In the end I had a few blocks that didn't turn out the right size. I quilted straight in the blocks, with pebbles in the white background. I like the contrast of straight and curved lines.
The quilt turned out fabulous, and I enjoyed giving it away!
