Branching Out

Most of my quilters leave their quilts with me without giving me any instruction to what they want. This is fine with me. I usually come up with something that goes with the style and fabric in the quilt.

For this quilt, I was given a couple of small drawings. One for the center, and one for the border. I was nervous to attempt the quilting, but it turned out great! Above is the paisley, feather, leaf meander I learned for the center.
And here is the featherish looking border. I am glad to have two new designs in my arsenal!
